Hi everyone! I’m Madeline, a junior at Shiner High School, and I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to spend five days in Tampa, Florida working alongside zookeepers at Busch Gardens! 🦒🐘
My dream is to become a wildlife veterinarian focused on conservation, and this trip will give me hands-on experience and the hours I’ll need when applying to vet school. I currently work at a local veterinary clinic and stay involved in my school and community through: 🎶 Band sectio leader (clarinet duo in our marching show) 🌾 4-H County Council Delegate & various projects ✝️ FCA leadership team, NHS, and Student Council 🎨 Class Champion Art Award at San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Western Art Contest 🇺🇸 Volunteer work with USVSD and the VFW 🇺🇸 VFW VOD State Top 10 winner, two years ✈️ 2025 leadership trip to Washington, D.C. 🏫 Honors & Dual credit college courses
