St. John Neumann Baseball is holding a Tesla raffle! With the funds raised we are hoping to further enhance and maintain our baseball facilities, purchase state-of-the art equipment for our players growth and development, and help fund upcoming tournaments travel expenses.

Entrant is solely responsible for reading these official rules and regulations.  THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. The specifics of the Raffle are as follows: 

Sponsor:                   St. John Neumann Baseball & Celtic Diamond Club

Grand Prize:             2023/2024 Tesla Model 3 (base model non-customized) 

Valued at $40,230.00 USD (Forty Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Dollars)                                    

Entry Dates:             September 1, 2023 to 12 p.m. on September 15, 2023 

Time & Date:            6 p.m. on September 15, 2023

 

The Grand Prize winner will receive his or her choice of a 2023 or 2024 Tesla Model 3 (hereinafter referred to as “Tesla” or “Tesla Grand Prize”) which is the ONLY prize being offered to the winner. For specific details on the Tesla Model 3, please visit the Tesla Motors Website and Design Studio.  Rules are subject to change at anytime at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  Winner consents to the use of their names, likeness and photographs without compensation for publicity purposes to help promote Sponsor and its programs.  Entrants must be 21 years of age or older to participate.  Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of equal and equivalent value.  The Tesla Grand Prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.  

All taxes, including all federal, state, local, sales, withholding tax, and any other taxes or government costs or fees of any type whatsoever are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.  Any insurance, licensing, registration, title fees and destination, and any other taxes or expenses not explicitly stated herein are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner.  The Grand Prize winner has the option to customize the vehicle beyond the base model specifications.  However, if the customization costs exceed the maximum Tesla Grand Prize, winner is solely responsible for any and all charges, costs, taxes, and fees over and above the aforementioned value of said Tesla Grand Prize.  The total amount of the Tesla Grand Prize shall NOT exceed $40,230.00 USD. Grand Prize winner is encouraged to consult with a tax advisor or specialist to determine tax consequences.  

The prize draw date, closing dates and times, and notification dates will be set out in the launch message and other accompanying content used to promote the prize draw and campaign.  The prize will run from the dates specified above.  Any and all entries received after the closing date and time will not be entered into the raffle.  At its sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may require additional information to verify the legibility of any entry – said prize may be withheld until Sponsor is satisfied with the verification.  

The winner of the raffle will be selected at random from all eligible entries that are received prior to the closing date and time.  The winner shall be notified by Sponsor via phone AND email within 24 hours of the raffle pull.  If Sponsor, in its sole discretion, is unable to contact the winner within 10 days of its documented initial notification, then the prize shall be deemed unclaimed and a new winner shall be drawn at random.  Any and all details for a new drawing shall be disseminated to entrants by Sponsor.  

In order to claim the Tesla Grand Prize, the winner must present valid proof of identification (i.e. passport or driver’s license).  Sponsor reserves the right to validate said proof of identification and request additional proof when deemed necessary. Sponsor shall provide winner with detailed information on where and when, and with whom to communicate with at Tesla, in order to claim the prize.  Sponsor is not responsible for any costs related to the transferring the vehicle to winner’s chosen Tesla Motors center of preference, or providing transportation for the Grand Prize winner to pick up said prize.  

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) the raffle with or without prior notice for any reason whatsoever, and in such event, an entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be to receive a refund of the full price paid by such participant for each ticket purchased without interest, including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud.  Any decision of Sponsor in all matters related to the prize draw and Grand Prize is final and binding.
