Wild turkey populations are on the decline in many states across the US. While Cameron and Andy feel their podcast does a great job of bringing awareness to the problem and to the organizations involved in funding research and support for those doing the research, they want to contribute more. This raffle is a way for more money to be raised for wild turkey habitat improvement and research.

Buy a chance to accompany Cameron and Andy on a Rio Grande Wild Turkey Hunt at El Mapache Blanco Ranch in Encino, TX for one of two late winter wild turkey hunt prizes in February of 2024. Proceeds from the hunt raffle will be donated to Turkeys for Tomorrow and The National Wild Turkey Federation.

The two winning hunters will arrive at El Mapache Blanco Ranch on the evening of February 20, 2024. Hunt all day 2/21/24, 2/22/24, and until Noon CST on 2/23/24. Then depart El Mapache Blanco Ranch the afternoon of 2/23/24. While at El Mapache Blanco Ranch, the hunters will enjoy meals, drinks, and lodging as part of the prize package. Hunters will have the opportunity to harvest 2 adult Rio Grande wild turkeys during the hunt, and hunters should expect to hunt hard from sun up until sun down on 2/21 and 2/22 and until Noon on 2/23. 

If after harvesting both turkeys a hunter wants to hunt exotics or hogs, then those hunts are available for purchase from El Mapache Blanco. Trophy fees and guide services for exotics and hogs will be at the hunter's expense and are not part of the raffle prize package. Accommodations for any additional animals above the 2 wild turkeys included in the prize package will need to be made with El Mapache Blanco Ranch prior to arrival and may need to include additional hunting days and additional expenses for lodging and meals (all at the winning hunter's expense).

Hunting licenses, travel to and from El Mapache Blanco Ranch, and any shipping of trophies are excluded.
If flying into Corpus Christi, TX, transportation to El Mapache Blanco is possible. Winner will need to coordinate travel from airport to Ranch and return travel to airport with Cameron and Andy after the drawing.
This is an adult gobbler only late winter hunt. It is still a hunt. Although the chance of success is very high, no one can guarantee a successful hunt. 

The winning hunter will be responsible for bringing their own hunting gear, guns, and ammo. Buy early and buy often. Cameron and Andy hope to see you in Texas in February!
