The Cleveland Cycling Academy "CCA" is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit amateur competitive cycling team and youth development program based in the Great Lakes Region.

Our mission is to identify, develop, mentor and financially support aspiring competitive youth cyclists.

Our goal is to financially support, mentor and develop youth cyclists who aspire to compete at regional, national and international events.

The CCA consists of a competitive youth (U-21) team/development program and a competitive masters & mentors team.

Our program is very unique, in that our highly experienced masters & mentors team is also volunteering their extraordinary skills and decades of knowledge. Our masters are coaching, training and advising our U-21 team on course and off course all year long. It's really a win, win situation.

The CCA embraces diversity and inclusion while promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. The CCA is a nonprofit organization that depends on sponsorships, donations and volunteers for its success.

Through fundraising, individual donors and sponsors, we provide each youth rider (12 riders total) with approx. $3,000 of cycling essentials such as team jerseys, bib shorts, speedsuits, socks, gloves, helmets, race entry fees, lodging at races and race nutrition. This helps reduce the high cost and financial stress of competitive cycling which in turn keeps our youth riders involved and thriving.

The money raised through this fundraiser will greatly help our 2024 season, which includes 6 national races, covering race entry fees and lodging for our youth team.

The Prize

VAN DESSEL Range Roamer with SRAM Rival AXS XPLR 1X
Range Roamer

The frame makes use of carbon fiber's ability to create a shape that provides a stout platform for stomping up the hills and precise steering but blends those attributes with materials needed to deliver a compliant and rewarding ride.

The frame design uses fully integrated cable routing for a clean cockpit set up and improved chassis strength and stiffness with no cable entry holes in the high stress head tube area. The frame is molded using size specific layups over an expanded polystyrene mold. Each frame uses its own blend of high modulus fibers for strength and intermediate and standard mod. fibers for durability and compliance. Frame stiffness is tuned for each size.
