Can you guess how many inches of snow Amherst, NH will get in its first accumulating snowfall this winter? There’s a free set of snow or regular  tires waiting for you if you can!

Here’s the prize package you’ll win:
  • 4 new snow tires chosen and provided by HM Motor Works

  • Tire and installation package value: $900

Here’s how the contest works:
  • Entrants must guess the date and how many inches of snow will fall in Amherst, NH for the first accumulating Snowstorm of the year as reported by the National Weather Service.
  • Entrants must be current residents of NH or the Rotary 7870 District.
  • The entry closest in accumulation amount will be declared the winner.
  • In the event of a tie, the earliest entry will be declared the winner.

The Peace & Environment Passport Rotary Club Foundation is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

The Rotary Peace & Environment Passport Club is on a mission to help underprivileged youth in our communities be successful. Last year we embarked on several projects: we created the “Stocked Backpack” project and supported the “End 68 Hours of Hunger Program.” We donated over 50 backpacks filled with school supplies to local elementary and middle schools and $1500 worth of food for the End 68 Hours of Hunger program – (the End 68 Hours of Hunger are the 68 hours that children go without food from Friday school’s end to Monday morning.) In addition, we donated winter coats, boots, and snow pants to elementary schools. We supported Operation Santa to give underprivileged children a special Christmas. Donated coats, clothes, and blankets to the homeless in the Monadnock region. Supported SHARE by creating Tree for their Festival of Trees. Created a Mental Health Zoom Speaker series open to the community and participated in community clean up days.
