It's time to help!
Have you ever had a plan that didn't go the way you wanted? Life happens! Do you know that feeling? Sometimes our young ones end up on the short end of that stick. This beautiful community has always treated me well and now it’s my turn to give back! Together we can make a difference and have fun doing it!! Please join me in support of this cause to help the children right here in our own community. “Many hands make the load light”
The Cause: It has come to my attention that many students in Horry County are missing out on basic opportunities like access to check out library books or even graduate high school due to outstanding book and lunch debts. These debts follow students from grade to grade and school to school until the debts are paid in full. The short and long-term implications of these debts have the potential to create significant ripple effects for these children. Limited access to educational resources and not being released to graduate with their class are examples of how these outstanding debts are impacting students.
Some of these are just simple oversights that can be corrected, but unfortunately, many of these debts belong to children and less fortunate families that simply do not have the means to pay their debts.
This is the reality they're facing! This is where we step in to make a difference and give these children back their freedom to access the resources they need to succeed! I am asking for YOUR HELP!
Proceeds from this Raffle will go to paying off as much of a school's (or multiple schools) book and food debt as possible within Horry County.
The Prize: Although donating to a good cause is its own reward, I want to say “Thank You” by adding to the efforts. All Raffle ENTRIES will be entered to WIN a "7 Night Vacation" to your choice of 4 beautiful vacation destinations. The raffle is open now through November 30th and a WINNER will be drawn at random at 7:00 pm EST on Nov 30. LIVE on our Facebook EVENT page. Each raffle ticket is $10 each (yes what you pay at Planet Fitness and less than your streaming services per month). The winner will be able to choose their location and available dates for their trip. The accommodations will be in a resort with amenities and are paid in full. (At this time transportation and food are not included. May be gifted at winner's discretion)
