This annual event honors the courage and sacrifice of Sgt Nathaniel S. Rock, who was killed in action on August 1, 2005, while serving with the Sniper Platoon, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines near Haditha, Iraq.
Sgt Rock’s memory lives on through this gathering of former U.S. Marines, all Purple Heart recipients, who come together not only to share in the hunt but also to visit and reconnect with Sgt Rock’s friends and family. It is a weekend of remembrance, camaraderie, and healing — a celebration of brotherhood and the enduring Marine spirit.
This year, Comanche Outdoors is holding a raffle for a Ridgeline Defense RD15-LPR, donated by Ridgeline Defense, to support this meaningful tribute.

The raffle closes on December 19, 2025, with the drawing held on December 20, 2025. Each ticket purchased helps fuel this memorial event and supports Comanche Outdoors’ mission to provide healing, camaraderie, and connection for veterans — ensuring that Sgt Rock’s legacy continues to inspire and unite those who served beside him.
Comanche Outdoors will ship the rifle to the winner through their licensed FFL.
