This is a fundraiser open to the public to help support our 501(c)19 non-profit veteran organization. We have our first official Reunion as a recognized non-profit coming up in mid October, and we will be doing the drawing for this raffle at that time. All money raised will go to our Marines, Sailors, and Gold Star Families to perpetuate our mission.

OUR MISSION:

"The 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines Association bridges past, present, and future generations of Thundering Third Marines, Sailors, and Gold Star Families to honor and remember those who gave all for their country and to preserve our battalion's brotherhood and family."

With the help of the George Company 3-1 Korea organization in 2014 at our 10 Year Battle of Fallujah Memorial we were able to form our new association that now bridges all of the generations of the Thundering Third Marines, Sailors, and Gold Star Families. We have seen an incredible response to help make the 3/1 Association become a reality with our most senior member being a WWII 3-1 Marine that fought on both Peleliu and Okinawa, and our youngest members currently serving with our active duty 3-1 unit today. We have 3-1 WWII Vets, 3-1 Korean War Vets, 3-1 Vietnam War Vets, 3-1 Gulf War Vets, 3-1 LA Riot Vets, 3-1, 3-1 Failaka Island Attack Vets, Iraq Vets, 3-1 Afghanistan Vets, and 3-1 Brothers that are still on Active Duty. Our 3-1 Marines have fought in every climb and place since the inception of our decorated unit.

We realize that it takes time, money, and energy to put our reunions together and make our mission statement a reality. We are an all volunteer organization, so everything we do is volunteer outside of the leadership's regular everyday duties. There is no paid positions inside our organization. We ask that you please consider supporting us in this endeavor and purchase some raffle tickets to support us. This a great opportunity to give back AND have a chance to win some amazing prizes. 3/1 Battalion CP up near where our Brothers fought at the Chosin Reservoir led by 
Chesty Puller himself who commanded the 1st Marine Regiment at the time. When Chesty 
Puller earned his 5th Navy Cross he was in command of 1st Marine Regiment and was 
leading our Thundering Third brothers during the fighting at the battle of the Chosin
Reservoir alongside our Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Thomas L. Ridge. At 
this battle Chesty famously said: 

"We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. 
We're surrounded. That simplifies things."
