New year, and a new spin on the Merlin Fund’s annual fundraiser! This year we have decided on an online auction to make entering easier for everyone. The Merlin fund had a very busy 2023. As so many of you know, the cost of veterinary care is becoming as expensive as our medical care. All donations make a huge impact on our ability to help animals in need and small, reoccurring, donations help the most. Please consider this option as it helps so many pets and their animal owners.
The Merlin Fund is very excited to announce that for this year’s fundraiser we have teamed up with the amazing fabric artist, Rebecca Lilly Segural. Rebecca makes stunning, realistic, endearing fabric collages of animals of all kinds. Do you own a cute camel or a precious pig, no problem. All of earth’s creatures are welcome including your canine or feline. They are a part of our family!
Tickets for this great prize are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. Regardless of whom you buy this for, they, or you will cherish what they have received. It is a small cost to pay for helping so many. Please be joyful in the thought of giving without wanting anything in return, and perhaps you will receive something in return. With the winner’s permission, the Merlin Fund and Rebecca will post the final piece for all to admire. The legal stuff:
1. The process for Rebecca to make a custom quilt (16” x 20”) is approximately 4 months. It’s artwork and takes time.
2. Free shipping within the United States
3. International shipping and insurance will be the responsibility of the winner. Choice of carrier is up to the winner, but prices may vary from region to region. If you win, we’ll work to get you the best price.
4. Auction will begin January 18, 2024 and run until February 13, 2024, at which time a winner will be drawn.
