As a parent of a senior XC runner, I've always tried to spearhead fundraising efforts to help with as muc as I can. I'm at it again!

For the second straight year, the Huntington High School Cross Country team is competing in the multi-state meet in Centerville, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 28 -- "Centerville Saturday Night Lights"

Last year's fundraising efforts helped pay for transportation, overnight accommodations, and tickets for students to visit King's Island on Sunday. 

My goal is make sure all trip expenses are covered and student-athletes, including my son, Christian, can once again enjoy a day at King's Island. 

But we're counting on you to help us by purchasing $25 tickets to our Eat Local raffle. Two winners will enjoy hundreds of dollars in gift cards to local restaurants, including Texas Roadhouse, Pita Pit, Giovanni's of Huntington, Roosters, The Peddler and more.
