Tulsa Metro Women on Fire is an 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2018 by Kendall Taylor and Alexa Reed. Both women are firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department in Oklahoma.  The organization has created one of the only all-female firefighter calendars in the country with the first being released in 2019.  The original goal was just to create a calendar featuring local female firefighters representing beauty and grit to sell and donate proceeds to families battling pediatric cancer.  In 6 years, Tulsa Metro Women on Fire has donated $100,000.00 to assist families in their fight against pediatric cancer!

However, this organization has become so much more.  Women currently represent only 9% of U.S. firefighters. By building a strong network of support, mentorship, and camaraderie, we aim to empower women firefighters to excel in their careers, overcome challenges, and inspire the next generation. We have the opportunity through advocacy initiatives, networking, and awareness campaigns, to break down barriers and create equal opportunities for women pursuing and thriving in firefighting careers, leading to an increase of female firefighters across the nation.

We are raising money to continue our mission to blaze the trail for females in the fire service and to provide as much support and assistance as possible to families fighting against cancer with their young warriors!
