Last year, I visited Asheville, North Carolina, and spent most of my time exploring the River Arts District (RAD) and meeting many artists who had studios there. Recently, Hurricane Helene flooded the river that the RAD is named after and damaged homes, businesses, and livelihoods. Learning how this community was tragically impacted by Helene compelled me to help fellow artists and their broader community who are in desperate need of assistance.

My solution is to raffle Sugary Night, a 24" x 36" oil on canvas (possibly more if this is successful), to raise money for the River Arts District of Asheville, a non-profit currently accepting donations to support the community. Sugary Night is one of my first pieces featured by @arthouse.nyc and featured at @idealglass_studios. It is based on Van Gogh's Starry Night and is an interpretation of Sugarloaf Mountain. Proceeds will be donated to the @riverartsdistrictasheville.

The raffle will end on November 8th, and a winner will be announced shortly after. I will record the drawing and provide full transparency with how the donations are allocated. Please share so we can raise as much money as possible for those impacted by Hurricane Helene and help them rebuild their lives.

The Prize

  • Sugary Night

Sugary Night is one of my most special and acclaimed pieces to date. Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, it is a depiction of Sugarloaf Mountain, the tallest regional peak and close to the Appalachian Mountain range, which extends into Asheville, North Carolina. Sugary Night was selected by Arthouse.NYC for my first exhibit at Ideal Glass Studio in New York City. It is a 24" x 36" oil on canvas.
