dvcc3.jpg132.66 KB In the spirit of the LPGA 2024 Solheim Cup Tournament being held in Northern Virginia this year, the Dominion Valley Ladies Golf Association is hosting our own LGA Solheim tournament. The Evergreen Ladies 18 Golf Association will be joining us for this event. The two ladies' leagues will play a friendly doubles match play competition with multiple formats similar to the LPGA Solheim Cup. It will take place on September 5th and we hope to make this a successful event that we can continue on an annual basis.
To raise funds for prizes and expenses, we are selling raffle tickets for One Grand Prize Drawing which will take place after the tournament on September 5th. The prize includes foursomes of golf at Dominion Valley Country Club and Evergreen Country Club, as well as tickets to the 2024 LPGA Solheim Cup tournament at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. The combined value of the items in this prize is over $1,200! The Grand Prize will be one drawing with one winner for all of it.
In addition, we will have a second drawing from all the same entries for a Preview Foursome Certificate for the new Beacon Hill Golf Club in Leesburg, Virginia opening this fall. This championship course is being re-designed and rebuilt by Resort Development Partners, and offers a spectacular layout with 400 ft. elevation changes and amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
