Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have a heartfelt opportunity to show our love and support for Brother Mathew Ward’s family as they face a challenging journey ahead for his daughter, Journey Ward.
On July 19th, Journey was at a stoplight in downtown Denver on her Harley when she was tragically struck by a drunk driver who tried to flee the scene without checking on her condition. Due to her vehicle being stuck on top of Journey's Harley, the drunk woman could not drive away, but even with that, the drunk driver is un-insured so there is no expectation for monetary repercussions at all. Despite being an experienced and cautious rider, equipped with a helmet and full riding gear, Journey was left critically injured.
Witnesses called an ambulance to save her life, but initial diagnosis was dire. The days following the accident were grim, with multiple brain bleeds, a broken pelvis, femur, foot, hand, arm, hand, fractured skull, and ribs. Doctors operated as soon as it was safe, and although the road to recovery will be long and painful, they believe she will pull through with multiple surgeries and many months of rehabilitation.
Unfortunately, this accident occurred just months after Journey aged out of her insurance coverage at 26, leaving her uninsured. The costs of her hospital stay, surgeries, and rehabilitation are just the beginning of the financial burden she and her family will face in the coming months and years. She will need extensive support to walk and care for herself again, and while her family is there to help, the financial strain is immense.
In times like these, our Union Family truly shows its strength and solidarity. Thanks to the generous donations from Jonathan Burleigh, we will be raffling off some fantastic swag, with all proceeds going to support Journey in her long fight to recover.
Let’s come together and show our unwavering support for Journey and her family during this difficult time. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to help them through this difficult and perilous time and we thank you for your support in these trying times.

We would also like to give Brother Jonathan Burleigh an extra thanks for donating the items you see to be raffled. His contributions from his business Renegade Lasers and Swag have made this even more exciting to participate.
