Enter this raffle to support Surfkids Shredding Senegal and win a one-of-a-kind surfboard, currently on display at BREAK THE WAVE, Andrea Codega’s exhibition. Out of the 2 surfboards presented, only one will be the final prize, chosen randomly before the raffle starts.

The raffle will end at the closing ceremony of BREAK THE WAVE, the 27th october at 18h (Dakar time), so don’t miss your chance!

This surfboard is both a functional piece for riding the waves and a unique work of art, featuring stunning designs inspired by the ocean and African culture.

Participants from both Dakar and all over Europe can join, as I will be returning to Italy at the end of November and could deliver the prize. Those in Dakar can receive their prize directly at the closing ceremony, while Italian and other European participants will receive their artwork once I’m back in Italy.

Even if you don’t win the surfboard, you’ll still receive a limited edition print as a token of appreciation for your support.
Don’t miss this chance to win a special piece while helping make a positive impact on local children’s lives!

1 ticket: 20$
2 tickets: 35$

The Prizes

  • 1 out of these 2 surfboards

    SURFBOARD N.1

    BREAK THE WAVE

Acrylic markers on a fiberglass 6'0 surfboard.
    Yoff, Dakar.

Inspired by the ocean surrounding Dakar, this surfboard combines the iconic giraffe coat pattern with the flowing curves of a wave. It's a metaphorical piece _ anyone can imagine themselves standing on it, riding the wave drawn. In practice, a surfer would ride not just one, but two waves simultaneously.

    SURFBOARD N.2

    EVERYDAY IS A BEACH DAY

Acrylic markers on a fiberglass 6'0 surfboard.
    Yoff, Dakar.

Capturing the essence of local beach vibes, this surfboard embraces minimalist design. The two palm trees stand alone, while the surrounding enviroment is evoked through a careful progression of colours, subtly hinting at the coastal landscape.
