The KCBS Contest Drawing returns during the 2026 Annual Awards Banquet weekend, giving attending KCBS members the opportunity to win entries into a wide range of KCBS-sanctioned contests scheduled for the 2026 season. This long-standing tradition is one of the most popular parts of the weekend, with plenty of names typically being called.
If you have contests on your 2026 calendar, this is a great opportunity to secure entries before the season even starts.
Entry deadline: Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Time
Drawing: Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM Central Time
Winners will be notified via email following the drawing.
Participation is limited to KCBS members in good standing who attend the 2026 KCBS Annual Awards Banquet in person in Kansas City, Missouri.

You’ll be competing for free entries into popular KCBS-sanctioned contests while supporting the mission of the Kansas City Barbeque Society to celebrate, teach, preserve, and promote barbecue as America’s cuisine. Proceeds help fund KCBS programs, education, and initiatives that support cooks, judges, organizers, and the broader barbeque community.
Terms and Conditions
The KCBS Contest Drawing (“Drawing”) is conducted by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (“KCBS”). By participating, entrants agree to the following terms.
Eligibility
Open only to KCBS members in good standing who are registered for and attend the 2026 KCBS Annual Awards Banquet in person at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, 4445 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri. KCBS employees and their immediate family members are not eligible.
How to Enter
Tickets must be purchased online through Raffle Creator by Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM Central Time. Please note the raffle website displays Eastern Time.
Drawing and Winner Selection
Winners will be selected using Raffle Creator’s automated drawing system. One winner will be drawn for each available Contest Certificate. The drawing will take place at 5:00 PM Central Time on February 21, 2026. Winners will be notified via email.
Prizes
Each Contest Certificate provides one basic free entry into the contest listed on the certificate. Certificates are valid for contests held in 2026 and early 2027 only as specified on the certificate, have no cash value, are non-refundable, and are transferable.
Redemption
Winners are responsible for contacting the Contest Organizer to redeem their certificate. Organizer contact information is available on the KCBS website under the Events page.
