My name is Kennedy and I've been dancing since I was 3 years old. I just turned 10 this year and have decided that I want to be a professional ballerina. Please purchase some raffle tickets below for a chance to win 1 of 2 amazing prizes AND to help me raise at least $4000 so that I can attend 2 of the most prestigious dance camps in the country this summer: American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and The Joffrey Ballet School. I’d love for you to share my raffle page with your friends as well.
In January, my mom flew me to NYC for a day to audition for the American Ballet Theatre 2025 Young Dancer Summer Workshop. This a 2 week summer intensive that provides the opportunity for serious young dancers to flourish in a professional yet nurturing environment. Auditions are held in several cities nationwide and is a very selective program. Well guess what?! I GOT ACCEPTED!
I also auditioned for the 1-week Joffrey South Ballet Summer Intensive and I've also been accepted to that!
I am so excited and ready to learn from industry leaders!
The American Ballet Theatre summer intensive costs $1800 plus travel costs to Costa Mesa, CA and the Joffrey South Ballet Summer Intensive costs $1700 including dormitory housing and is located here in Atlanta, GA. I really, really need your support!
History of the American Ballet Theatre American Ballet Theatre is considered one of the greatest dance companies in the world, revered as a living national treasure since its founding in 1939. Few ballet companies rival ABT in size, scope, and outreach. Though located in New York City, ABT annually tours the United States – performing for 300,000 people annually – and is the only major cultural institution to do so. The Company has made more than 30 international tours to 45 countries in order to share American ballet with the world, and on many of these engagements ABT received sponsorship from the State Department of the United States Government.
More about the Joffrey South Ballet Summer Intensive Nestled in the campus of Kennesaw State University in the Atlanta-Metro Area, the Joffrey South Ballet Intensive is the ideal setting for the student who wishes to have an intimate, supportive, and rigorous training experience while simultaneously living on an iconic historic college campus. Students are challenged on a daily basis and given the tools they need to grow beyond their expectations under the artistic direction of Colleen Barnes.
