For years, we've done limited run sales with portions of the sales proceeds to benefit causes that we care about. This year, we wanted to do something even bigger.

The Mental Illness Recovery Center, Inc. (MIRCI) is a cause near and dear to our hearts and our community. Mirci impacts the Midlands community through its services to individuals living with or at risk of severe and persistent mental illness and/or chronic homelessness. For over 60 years, Mirci has sought to uphold mental health by helping these individuals regain stability and independence in their lives. They do this through outreach, clinical services, and supportive housing in our community.

The Prizes

  • TOP PRIZE: Shock The Fox "Collaboration" Guitar

    1DX_1232 (Sm).jpg 715.66 KB
This is a one of one, literally one-of-a-kind bespoke handcrafted guitar by acclaimed luthier Tye Tyler (Shock The Fox) whose work has gained tremendous acclaim and enthusiastic owners.

This gorgeous guitar is a one of a kind collaboration between Shock The Fox, Caroline Guitar Company, and Righteous Sound Pickups. It is valued at $6500.

The LaHonda pickup is a combination of a staple coil and P-90 build by Righteous Sound. It has been specially wired for full power series humbucker operation, parallel coil operation, each coil individually, or out-of-phase between the coils.

Included in this guitar is the *VERY LAST* of the Cannonball Custom fuzzstortion circuits by Caroline Guitar Company. This circuit can go everywhere from mild boost and fuzzstortion to all out starved voltage mayhem, and then with the included "havoc" control, to create waves of (somewhat) controllable feedback.
  • Righteous Sound Pickup Set

    IMG_0195.jpg 747.16 KB
An absolutely gorgeous humbucker combination here, this is what Josh Spataro wound for our Novo Miris and it has been breathtaking. A RAF-2 unpotted, hand wired humbucker in the bridge, and a Galaxy wide range style humbucker for the neck. They balance and contrast beautifully.

The RAF-2 has a fuller midrange and a little more output in comparison to the original RAF.  This Galaxy  features Cunife threaded magnets just like the originals, but in a standard humbucker size. Retail price $430.
  • Alexander Pedals Forget-Me-Not.

    1DX_1225 (Sm).jpg 836.24 KB
Forget-Me-Not is a digital echo unit based on a fairly rare piece of rack gear.  The original was designed as a reverberation unit but the implementation was a bit idiosyncratic, so the result ended up somewhere between reverb and delay.  We’ve leaned into the differences between this unique approach and a modern delay / reverb unit to create something that has one foot in each world. Retail price $399.
  • Old Blood Noise "Black Fountain" Delay Pedal

    1DX_1234 (Sm).jpg 796.96 KB
Black Fountain emulates the sound of an oil can delay: warm, modulated, and a little gritty. It’s perfect for chorusing, doubling, slapback, and long rhythmic delays alike. You choose the amount and rate of modulation, the tone and grit of the core voice, the two delay times and their feedback, and the mono/stereo voice of it all.

We've really enjoyed the additional "space" control that adds reverb to the individual repeats. You can definitely space out with this thing and have a blast playing. Retail price $299.
  • Electronic Audio Experiments "Etched Surveyor" Pedal

    1DX_1233 (Sm).jpg 705.7 KB
A limited run version of their Surveyor, this is a compact re-interpretation of the Instrument Voicing Preamp (aka IVP), a cult classic and long discontinued rackmount preamplifier. The IVP is best known for its distinctively clangy tone and harsh attack at high treble settings—especially in conjunction with an aluminum neck guitar, single coil pickups, and full range speakers—but its unique solid-state voice transcends genre labels. The Surveyor features a unique, transformer-loaded “Tube Voice” distortion generator that is highly responsive to the frequency content of the input signal. This is achieved by placing a two-band shelving EQ before distortion is applied—the complete opposite of most drive pedals. Retail priced at $279.
