As you may know I have always been a huge prayer warrior and advocate for those fighting cancer. Unfortunately this time it has hit close to home.
In September my brother in-law Dave started to have horrible headaches. Several trips to his doctor resulting in,  "it must be your allergies causing migraines." Weeks later he began to experience vertigo , feeling dizzy and a hoarse voice.  More trips to the doctor and was told likely a virus although every test came back negative. Finally out of desperation he saw a specialist an ENT, who then ordered a brain MRI and that's when we learned the diagnosis of likely metastatic brain cancer. Since that day his symptoms have progressed. A trip to the ER led to another and finally he was admitted to the hospital and is facing a craniotomy and an uncertain future. His wife Kathy of 42

years by his side has had to take time away from work. Dave had just retired from his job and was looking forward to time with his granddaughters and puttering with his car project and spending time with our family.
We knew we have to do something to help them. I decided to raffle a one of a kind Scotie bird wall art. It is a  "Hooked Billed Hooter Bird" It's 4' Tall x 19" wide Raffle tickets are 15.00 each.

Update they completed the craniotomy and removed 1 of 3 tumors, it was benign.
They plan to monitor the other masses w mri in 4 to 6 weeks. Unfortunately this doesn't end here. Since the craniotomy the doctors have been monitoring Dave's heart and have identified an infection. We are awaiting the blood culture results but understand that surgery to replace a heart valve is imminent as this is a very serious situation.  We thank everyone for their prayers and donations.
